Indiana State Fair Volunteer
About Indiana State Fair Ticket Sales
Volunteers are needed to work for the Indiana Lions Foundation as ticket sellers, ticket scanners, kiosk monitors and hand stampers at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis. This is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser. If you haven’t worked at the Indiana State Fair in a while, you might be pleasantly surprised at the changes that have been implemented in recent years. Most jobs can be done while sitting and some are in air-conditioned ticket booths. The checkout process for tickets sellers has been streamlined. In addition to ticket sellers and ticket scanners, the fair is adding self service ticket kiosks at each of our gates, and people are needed at each gate to monitor these machines and to sell tickets in front when crowds are large. We have also added stamper positions and they are located at the exit and will hand stamp people who wish to re-enter the fair. We will make every effort to honor the position for which you registered, but it may be necessary to work at another position. In addition to gates 12 and 1W we have added 4 new infield gates, Please note the new start and end times. We have also an eaely morning shift to gate 1W.
Open shifts are listed at the bottom of this page. The Fair will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and the Fair will close for the evening at 8:00 pm.
