About Indiana State Fair Ticket Sales
Volunteers are needed to work for the Indiana Lions Foundation as ticket sellers, ticket scanners and kiosk monitors at the 2021 Indiana State Fair, July 30th – August 22rd, in Indianapolis. This is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser and the proceeds are used to provide grants to Lions Clubs throughout the state of Indiana. If you haven’t worked at the Indiana State Fair in a while, you might be pleasantly surprised at the changes that have been implemented in recent years. Most jobs can be done while sitting and many are in air-conditioned ticket booths. The checkout process for tickets sellers has been streamlined. In addition to ticket sellers and ticket scanners, the fair is adding self service ticket kiosks at each of our gates, and 1 person at each gate will need to monitor these machines. We will no longer be responsible for gate 11 (transportation center) and gate 6T (the tunnel). We have added gate 1W (the main walk in gate on 38th Street).
Open shifts are listed at the bottom of this page. The Fair will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and the Fair will close for the evening at 8:00 pm.
Get a flavor of the work by Watching videos of Lions working at the State Fair on our YouTube channel.
Please check times of shifts carefully as some days have three overlapping shifts, and two days have early morning start times.
